Ban Suriya, translated as "The Sunshine House" sits on the peaceful southern end of Lipa Noi Beach with its untouched white sand, wonderful Angthong Marine Park view and classic west coast sunsets.

Ban Suriya is a contemporary style Villa with Thai and Asian touches. Built on 3,200 sqm of beachfront land it features superb tropical gardens and comprises a large main living villa, six bedrooms and a fitness room together with a 19 metre pool with swim up bar, a separate shallow plunge pool ideal for kids, and of course direct access to the white sandy beach.

The Villa is almost exclusively white, which is in sharp contrast with the use of vibrant colours in linens and accents. It is undoubtedly a stylish person's paradise. The Villa has an eclectic mix of modern and retro furnishings. You are spoilt for choice when considering where to relax at any particular time of the day. The garden hammock, massage beds and loungers provide cool places to sit and read under the shade of the many coconut trees. The expansive wooden decks, gardens and beachfront ensure you can enjoy as much or as little sun and privacy as you choose.

Each of the six bedrooms possess a different colour theme and outlook. The master bedroom is detached from the main villa and set on the beachfront lawn, featuring an outdoor shower room and direct beach access. The "kids" bedroom is in a separate villa alongside the main villa and opens on to the plunge pool deck. It has twin beds with each a roll out bed and en-suite bath and shower room. The entertainment room joins the kids room and features TV, DVD, games, table tennis and "baby football" plus a sofa bed offering additional nanny accommodation. The other four bedrooms are in two separate pavilions joined by two shared en-suite shower rooms. The second master bedroom enjoys great sea views and is supplemented by a lounge area and private access to an outdoor sunken bath. A TV, DVD player and mini fridge complete its amenities. The adjoining twin bedroom can be converted to a king sized double and can be entered over a fish filled lotus pond. The opposite two bedrooms are both large doubles, one with sea views and both with direct access to the 19 metre pool and Jacuzzi. Each of the six bedrooms are air conditioned and equipped with hair dryers and individual safes.

The main living villa offers a luxury upstairs lounge with an office area and access to a more private sun deck and sunset bar; the den is the perfect area to read or keep an eye on pool happenings through the underwater window and the TV room is equipped with an extensive DVD collection for viewing your favourite movies. There is an additional shower room and WC within the main villa and the modern kitchen is fully equipped for the experienced Thai Chef and opens on to the large dining area which comfortably seats twelve.

The fitness room is air conditioned and equipped with weights, fitballs, crunch, yoga mats, rowing machine, stepper, bike and boxing. It has direct access to a shower and WC and opens to the plunge pool deck.

The Villa is an entertainer's dream. It is possible to enjoy a candle-lit beach dinner, sunset cocktails at the upstairs bar, a poolside BBQ, a garden lunch at the tables built around the frangipani trees, or a stylish in door evening meal at the large square glass table.

The Villa has four full time staff that are as requiredl during your visit and are supported by our resident staff. We suggest you enjoy the services of one of our experienced Thai chefs to prepare some of the finest Thai culinary delicacies.

Located on the West coast of Koh Samui, 10 minutes from the ferry port of Nathon and 35 kms from Samui's international airport.

Villa rates

• Daily rates from US$ 1,300 to 1,800 for the entire house or US$ 950 to 1,150 for 4 bedrooms (in intermediate and high seasons only)
• Daily rates include a full time Thai Chef (food cost on Guests account)
• Reduced occupancy rate and/or promotional rate does not include chef service (can be provided upon availability and additional service fee)
• Minimum stay of 3 nights (14 nights over Christmas and New Year, 5 nights for High and Prime seasons)
• Rates shown are for a maximum of 14 (fourteen) adults and children. A nanny would be able to sleep on the sofa in the games room
• Rates are subject to 10% service charge and 7% tax
• Airport transfer: US$ 40 (plus tax) per trip for a maximum of 7 passengers in private mini bus or luxury car
